Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions Gives $10,000
We recently asked the children we give 'Hope Totes' to if there was anything else we could do for them. "We need jackets and sweaters," was the overwhelming response. Unfortunately, this would require more money in the budget than we have. Enter the Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions with a check for $10,000, part of the proceeds of their annual fundraiser "Cruise for Kids" held in Tampa. "Not only can we serve more children with this generous donation," said For Every Child President Julie Petrovic, "We can also add a sweater or jacket for each child. We are so grateful to have been chosen as a recipient of "Cruise for Kids" and have already started handing out new totes including jackets."
Cable Com Donates proceeds of Golf Tournament
Cable Com Inc. of Austin, Texas held it's annual golf tournament October 29th. They hold a golf tournament every year to thank their customers and employees and raise money for a local charity. For Every Child president Julie Petrovic said when she found out they were chosen as beneficiaries, "This is wonderful. We have heard from several of the kids we help that they need jackets or sweaters, something we don't currently provide. We were lucky enough to find sponsors in Florida to buy these items but we hadn't yet found someone in Texas. This will allow us to meet this important need in Austin, too." Many thanks to Cable com, their employees and customers for their generosity! We will be able to buy a lot of sweaters and jackets with the $3889 they donated.
Kids Discover Joy of Helping Other Kids
Volunteers from Little Helping Hands, an organization in Austin that pairs families with children who want to "get involved" with charities that need help, spent time packing clothes for our 'Hope Totes' program. "One of the best lessons we can teach our children is how to care for those less fortunate. The kids from Little Helping Hands not only provided a wonderful service but they learned how important it is to do something meanigful for another child," said For Every Child, Inc. For Every Child supports shelters for abused and neglected children by providing the very basic of necessities. Most have nothing when they first arrive, we work to give them hope.

Dade City Couples Christmas Party Celebrates with Friends and Raises Money
The generous hosts of the Dade City Couples Christmas party have made their holiday party an event not to be missed with fabulous food, decorations and entertainment. They wanted more for their holiday celebration though. The couples all "sponsor" their many guests and in turn those guests, along with local community sponsors, donate to a charity. For Every Child is honored to have been chosen. The generosity of all involved is very heart warming and of course it means warm clothes to the many children that we serve..

PGA TOUR golfer Tim Petrovic and wife Julie Petrovic set out to prove it.
"I can no longer spend my days wondering if I've done enough" Julie stated when asked why For Every Child is so important to the couple.
"We can make a difference for a child today. And, I guess the most important reason why we started this charity is because we truly believe that every child matters."
