River Ridge Cafeteria Workers Forgo gifts, Donate to Children Instead
The ladies working in the cafeteria at River Ridge School adopted For Every Child, Inc. in place of giving each other holiday gifts. Instead of exchanging wrapped gifts this year, these thoughtful ladies bought clothing and toiletries and spent time filling their own "Hope Totes" for needy children in Pasco County, Florida. Now that's the holiday spirit! Our thanks to the 24 generous ladies who put the needs of children before their own.
Santa Cruz Catholic School Students donate and Pack "Hope Totes"
Elementary school students at Santa Cruz Catholic School in Buda, Texas and their families purchased clothing and toiletries to make 15 "Hope Totes" for needy Austin area children. The school generously donated diapers, items to decorate the totes and fabric to make blankets. Several classrooms spent an afternoon making fleece no-sew blankets so every child receiving a tote would also get a snuggly blanket. These sweet children also decorated totes and then packed the donated clothing into the totes. Many thanks to the students and staff of Santa Cruz Catholic school and the families who donated the new clothes!
